Gangster Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu has taken the responsibility of the murder of Haryana’s Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) state president Nafe Singh Rathi. On Wednesday evening, Nandu said on social media that the murder was done to support his rival gangster Manjeet Mahal. Last year, Nandu had also killed BJP’s Kisan Morcha official Surendra Matiyala for supporting Manjeet. Apart from this, Delhi Police is also investigating political connections in this case.
According to the police, in a post posted on Facebook and Instagram, Nandu has said that ‘Nafe Singh Rathi was murdered on Sunday, I have got it done. The reason for this was the deep friendship between Nafe and Manjeet Mahal. Manjeet Bhai used to work with Sanjay to capture property, whoever joins hands with my enemy will face the same consequences. These people had supported Mahal in the murder of my brother-in-law and friend. I am putting together a photo of their friendship, whoever supports my enemy, full 50 bullets will wait for him. The entire Bahadurgarh knows about the number of people killed and property seized by Nafe Singh while in power, but no one could say anything. If the police which is so active now, had been present at the time of the murder of his brother-in-law and friend, he would not have needed to commit the crime.
Delhi Police officials say that Nandu had also taken responsibility by posting such a post at the time of the murder of BJP leader Surendra Matiyala. Later, Dwarka District Police and Crime Branch arrested all the operatives involved in the crime. Many teams of Special Cell and Crime Branch are deployed to arrest the accused of Nafe’s murder. These teams are also investigating political connections. Also, the authenticity of Nandu’s post is being investigated.
